YU Yureka to get a Lollipop update in first week of April

Micromax birthed YU Televentures has been taking direct shots with tongue-in-cheek references at Mi India as part of its online promotion for its next handset. In the meantime, the existing owners of the Yureka handset raised a query against the anticipated Lollipop update.

YU support team's email response to many concluded that the Lollipop update for the Yureka can be expected in the first week of April. For Yureka, the Lollipop update would basically arrive packaged as the CyanogenMod 12S version.
Apparently, the CyanogenMod 12S update has been delayed for all supporting devices. Even OnePlus missed at along with the deadline for OxygenOS.

Samsung Galaxy S5 mini (SM-G800) to receive Android 5.0.1 update

Samsung Denmark's website is now revealing that the Samsung Galaxy S5 mini  (SM-G800) will be receiving an update to Android 5.0.1. The handset is currently running Android 4.4.2. The update actually takes the less-spec'd mini version of Samsung's last generation flagship phone, to a slightly higher build than the Android 5.0 version. The update includes the Material Design of Android 5.0, Lock Screen notifications, the 64-bit ART compiler that opens apps faster, Project Volta for improved battery life, Quick Settings pull-down shade from any page, new Recent Apps menu and more. The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini features a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280. That works out to a pixel density of 326ppi. The Apple Watch is here! Kind of. Pre-orders are now open online, which is honestly not as exciting as waiting in line for days in anticipation of the next big thing. However, the actual watches will take weeks, and for most people more than a month to arrive, as shipping times are surprisingly long. Apple Watch Sport ships in June (!) Apple Watch (stainless steel) shipping times are four to six weeks Apple Watch Edition shipping times vary between models from July to August (!!) Hey, but if you want to order a band without the watch it will arrive quicker: it only takes 2 to 4 weeks for most bands to ship.
