What happens when the Galaxy S6 edge is dropped on its edge...Here watch it.

Samsung has revealed its own test, not long after also posting an official bend test. Samsung wants us to see what happens to the Galaxy S6 edge when the handset is dropped exactly on its side - which, because of the curved display, may seem fragile. 

As the video embedded below is showing, when dropped from chest-height on its side, the S6 edge doesn't suffer any damage. The video is also showing that the S6 and S6 edge can be dropped on the back (from the same height) without being damaged. Of course, we were expecting this, as previous drop tests - the ones not done by Samsung - have shown that the new Galaxy flagships should both fare pretty well if you drop them in real life. 

All in all, the combination of aluminum and Gorilla Glass 4 (which covers the front and back of the S6 and S6 edge) seems to be doing a good job at keeping Samsung's new flagship phones damage-free.
