Lava Icon Specs

The Lava Icon boosts a 5 inch IPS HD Display which has the resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels . It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Mediatek Octa-Core Processor and coupled with 2 GB RAM. The Lava Icon packs 16 GB built-in storage, which can further be expanded to upto 32 GB via microSD card.
Now coming to the camera, this device flaunts a 13 MP Rear Camera with Sony EXMOR sensor. The rear camera includes F2.0 aperture, 5P lens for low light photography, better color reproduction and Blue glass filter. The company claims that this device capable of capturing 27% more light under low light conditions. There is also a 5 MP Front Shooter with Omni vision sensor, featuring F2.4 aperture and 4P lens.

Lava Icon Android Version & Battery Capacity

The smartphone runs on Android 4.4 with new Star OS on top. The company hasn’t said anything about the Lollipop update, but we hope Lava is planning for it and will roll out Android 5.0 Lollipop soon.
On battery, it is powered by a 2500 mAh Li-Pol battery which the company claims will allow up to 20 hrs of talk time on 2G and up to 9 hrs of talk time on 3G.

Lava Icon Price & Release Date

The Lava Icon is priced at Rs. 11,990 and will be available on selected retail stores across India in offline market. For online market this device is exclusive to Snapdeal and will starting from April 9th. And the first 500 people who buys it from Snapdeal will get a selfie stick as freebie.
