T-Mobile customers sporting the latest flagship model from HTC will soon be the recipients of an 88MB update that will make some improvements to the 20MP rear camera, social media/news reader BlinkFeed and the user experience on the HTC One M9 The update takes the software to version 1.32.531.33. In order to download and install the update, T-Mobile requires that you be connected to a Wi-Fi nework when going through the updating process, and demands that your battery be charged to at least 50%. You need to have at least 88MB of free storage available.

HTC One (M8) on AT&T to begin receiving Android Lollipop update from Today

HTC received technical approval for the Android Lollipop update as scheduled, and now AT&T customers packing the venerable HTC One M8  will begin receiving the update from today. Often, AT&T only allows update queries to be made once every 24 hours so instead of hammering your "system update" button, wait until tomorrow. According to HTC's Mo Versi, specifically after 10:00am Pacific on Tuesday, as that is when M8 users can expect to start seeing update notifications. It is always good when a plan comes together, and HTC has put forth a good effort to update its devices in a timely manner following major releases from Google. The HTC One M7  on AT&T was released a week ago , and Tuesday’s update for the M8 follows in-kind. The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge come with the latest cutthroat DDR4 RAM technology, and 3 GB of the good stuff at that, but when it comes to the actual RAM management, Samsung might have dropped the ball, judging from several forum threads and user reports. In a nutshell, Galaxy S6 owners are reporting a very aggressive RAM management, to the point where apps get constantly shut down, and there's 200-400 MB of RAM left only at any given time. Granted, Android's RAM usage is made this way, and the system feels best when most of the available RAM is utilized. The users have already reported this issue to Samsung, and there might be a software update in the future to bring on a more efficient RAM management - we can only imagine the app sprawling that will be happening on phones with Lollipop and 4 GB of RAM, of which there are already a few out there.
